About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with experience in a variety of settings and populations.  I received my Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of North Texas in 2004.  In 2005, I received my license from the Texas State Board of Examiners.

Throughout the years, I have worked in several different environments.  During my internship, I oversaw two group homes for adults with Mental Retardation.  I served as the Supervisor and Behavioral Specialist.  Additionally, I conducted psychological assessments needed to qualify them for services.   For 2 years, I worked at North Richland Hills Christian Counseling Center conducting therapy for individuals, couples and families.  Then, I moved to San Antonio and worked at a community college, where I taught life skills (“Strategies for Success”) and focused on career counseling.

Now, I have moved back to my home town of Bowie, Texas.  And I have opened a counseling office.  I offer professional counseling to individuals, couples, and families utilizing basic Christian principles.
